After readers clap for the article, content creators will have to wait for a day to receive their rewards because the rewards came from the Creators Fund which has its clearance daily.

[Civic Liker](/general-guides/dapp/civic-liker.md) distributes the supporting amount according to their clap. Content creators receive rewards depending on the proportion of claps received.

Civic Liker is also able to largely affect the daily [Creators Fund](/general-guides/dapp/civic-liker/creators-fund.md) distribution by their claps to the content so that creators can earn extra income.
