LikeCoin envisions a future where digital content is transformed from “Web-native” to “NFT native” format. All content will be natively created on the blockchain and stored in two layers.

Property right layer — the metadata registry ISCN (international standard content number) records the relationships between the content and creator. The NFT layer — the proof of ownership and the mechanism of transfer between purchasers and creators.

Writing NFT

NFT can be an email, an image, an identity, or a book. LikeCoin Writing NFT is designed especially for text-based content creation.

Similar to the workflow of traditional publishing, i.e., securing content authorship -> printing the content in books -> selling in bookstore, creators can now register the content on the LikeCoin chain -> mint an NFT of it -> sell it in NFT marketplaces. Compared with the constraints in physical publishing, publishing content and exchanging value in the metaverse can be more flexible and everlasting.

LikeCoin DAO

LikeCoin DAO is a decentralized organization that allows all LIKE token holders to participate in governance decisions. Every LikeCoin holder is a stakeholder of the DAO.

The DAO performs collective decisions of the public treasury, infrastructure for common goods, and evolvement of policies, which can all be evolved via the LikeCoin DAO governance process. Governance decisions include, for example, voting on governance decisions related to the token or other rules impacting the LikeCoin ecosystem. The LikeCoin community uses proposals to decide how to allocate resources from the community fund, rules and procedures for governance, selection of representatives for various working groups (“subdao’s”), etc.

LIKE token

LIKE is the native token of LikeCoin, a BPoS blockchain built on Cosmos SDK. LIKE is the utility and governance token of the LikeCoin ecosystem.

All transaction fees, network usage, and services built upon LikeCoin infrastructure will use LIKE as the primary token across new projects

LIKE is hyperinflationary, with incentives for staking to secure the LikeCoin chain. There is no fixed total supply of LIKEs and the total supply will increase each year between 7-20% due to inflation. The top 50 validators that have the most staked LIKE will fill the active validator's seats for validating and creating new transactions for the chain. Active validators' seats can be changed by the community through proposals that are voted on by those holding LIKE tokens.

LikeCoin ecosystem

The LIKE ecosystem is made up of the community of everyday people who hold LIKE and the creators of products and services utilizing LIKE. Currently, this community comprises 60k+ addresses, 8k+ media sites, and 2 mil+ registered pieces of content authored by 26k+ creators in the LikeCoin ecosystem.

Liker Land is one of the core teams in the LikeCoin community and it created the early MVP and Dapps of LikeCoin — including the LikeCoin button, WordPress plugin, ISCN app, and the upcoming NFT minting widget that allows creators to mint NFTs directly from their own website.

It supports any kind of content format including but not limited to articles, photos, videos, music, etc. However, we encourage users to follow the public standard of schema.org for content metadata.

Granting other wallet send NFT Authz permission allows them to send away ANY NFT you own, not limited to NFT books or Writing NFT you created. Use with CAUTION and ONLY grant to those you absolutely trust!

• In the Current Grants, wallet address and authorization expiry date are displayed. Click "Renew" to update the authorization or click "Revoke" to cancel the authorization.

• To create a new authorization, enter the wallet address in the Grant new send NFT Authz field and then click "Submit".

The process for adding supplementary books (replenishing stock) is similar to the regular process of listing ebooks. However, there’s one important point to note.

Step 1: Prepare the NFT Class ID

Visit the Liker Land Bookstore and find the ebooks you want to replenish. Note down the alphanumeric string after the URL https://liker.land/en/nft/class, starting with the word "like". This alphanumeric string represents the NFT Class ID.

Step 2：Mint more ebooks

Go to the Liker Land Book Press website, click "Sign in" in the bottom left corner to connect to your wallet, the click "".

In the "Enter ISCN ID or NFT Class ID" field, input the NFT Class ID. Afterward, click "Submit".

Step 3：Fill in the number of books to mint

Enter the number of NFTs to mint in the "Number of NFT to mint" field. After filling in and confirming that everything is correct, click "Mint" to sign and complete minting.

Step 4: Select the Edition to replenish

Click "" to displays the ebooks that are currently listed. Select the one that needs replenishing and manage it.

Click on the version that needs replenishing. If you need to create a new edition, click “New Edition".

Step 5: Adjust the quantity of ebooks available for sale

Simply modify the “Total number of NFT for sale of this book”, and then click “Save Changes” to replenish the ebooks.

How to set up

Go to the upper right corner of the and click "Login".

Click "Email/Social" or Keplr to login.

After logging in, click on the avatar in the upper right corner, click ‘Settings’, and then click ‘Liker ID’.”

Click on "Change Avatar" or "Edit" to modify your email. Click on "Display Name" and "Description" to change them, and don't forget to click "Save".

Method 1: Publish Writing NFT directly from ISCN

After the article is published and regsitered with ISCN, go to "" of to find the ISCN of the article, and click "Mint NFT" on the top right corner to directly mint the ISCN as Writing NFT, the steps are exactly the same as Publish Writing NFT with an Article URL.

Method 2: Copy the ISCN ID and publish Writing NFT

Go to "" at to find the ISCN ID of the registered article and copy it.

Enter the ISCN ID in the and click "Register ISCN". For the steps remaining, please refer to Publish Writing NFT with Article URL.

We understand that creators prefer to focus on creation. Although there are unavoidable sales and promotional works such as building relationships with readers, sales efforts should be minimized as much as possible.

Writing NFTs help creators deal with two important sales parameters automatically: 1) marked price, and 2) quantity.

The marked price of each Writing NFT will be adjusted automatically according to demand and supply, bounded by a predefined curve. Each new price point is double the previous one. The pricing scheme seems simple to readers as well since there is only one marked price at any time. The marked price will be set to the lowest price in the secondary market if there is any.

There is no upper limit to the quantity of Writing NFTs. Whenever someone collects an NFT at the marked price, a new NFT instance will be minted. As the marked price increases automatically with the minted quantity, the circulation limit will be set by the market when the marked price reaches an unacceptable value in some sense.

is a decentralized file system protocol for storing and sharing data in a peer-to-peer networks. The IPFS hash of the content can serve as the content fingerprint in an ISCN record. IPFS provides a lower-layer protocol foundation.

ISCN registers the important content metadata such as author, publication date, licenses terms, versions, and content fingerprint. It is perfectly matched with decentralized file systems like IPFS so that users can search for content indexed by ISCN in a decentralized network more efficiently. ISCN is also a solution to manage versioning and licensing.

The content fingerprint is not necessary an IPFS hash, however, but can be any content address such as an content ID or even a popular web URL. An ISCN record can even be filled with other metadata only, without a content fingerprint.

ISCN (International Standard Content Number) is the unique metadata record of a piece of content registered on the LikeCoin chain.

The use case of ISCN is similar to that of ISBN (International Standard Book Number) for books being published. The process of publishing content to the LikeCoin chain is more or less the same: a unique ISCN is generated for each piece of content and bears corresponding metadata such as authors, publication date, copyright licenses, and the digital fingerprint. ISCN data is immutable due to blockchain's characteristics.

The ISCN data structure supports content versioning, and each ISCN record will connect to its previous version.

Registering an ISCN costs LikeCoin, which includes the GAS fee and the cost for the application service provider.

Decentralized Publishing has the following features so that the content will be perpetuated and distributed on the internet:

• The data is stored in an open and immutable blockchain, modification of any kind will leave a record, everyone can check it on the block explorer Ping.pub.

• The nodes constructing the blockchain are operated in a decentralized way. They are managed by different community members with different backgrounds and their nodes are distributed all over the world. Even if part of the nodes are forced to shut down, the chain will still operate and the content will not vanish.

• The code of the infrastructure is open source, anyone can copy them and fork the project.

• No censorship. Anyone can publish anything to the public network.

Storing content in a decentralized infrastructure is more sustainable than relying on centralized parties like companies, organizations or governments. The ISCN record can be maintained by at least one operating node.

Step 3: Set Up the Book Sales Affiliation Program

After logging in, if user settings have not been configured, the system will display "Join Our Affiliation Program! Set up your Liker ID and Stripe Connect Account to participate in the sales affiliation program on Liker Land Bookstore". Click "Setup" to proceed with the setup.

Alternatively, click "User Setting" on the left-hand menu to enter the Liker Land Bookstore Management Page. In the Book Sales Affiliation Program, click "Setup your ID" to configure your affiliation channel ID.

After completing the setup, the Affiliation channel ID will be displayed.

Step 4: Connect Your Payout Bank Account

In the Stripe Connect Payout Account Status, click "Setup your ID" to configure your Stripe account and bank account details.

Step 5: Setup Complete and start using the promotion link

After completing the setup, the message "Append ?from=@[your Liker ID] in any bookstore page to earn commission from book sales" will appear. Please check that the three spots shown below have been successfully configured.

Click "Copy" to copy the new book promotion link in "Latest Book". Then, share it to earn a share of the revenue from the Book Affiliation Program.

Stripe Connect Status

In the Stripe Connect Payout Account Status, click "Setup Stripe Payment Recipient Account" to begin setting up your Stripe account.

The Stripe website appears. Fill in your email and mobile number, then click "Submit".

You will receive a verification code on your mobile, fill it in.

Fill in your Country and Type of business under Tell us about your business, then click "Continue".

As an example, for selecting a company, enter the company's Legal business name and the Business name, which may be different from the legal name, then click "Continue".

Click on "Bank Account" to set your Account holder name, Choose your bank, Choose your branch and fill in your Account number, then click "Save".

Check whether the entered information is correct on the Review and submit page, then click "Agree and submit".

After the Stripe approval is completed, Setup Completed will change to "Yes".

You can click "Login to Stripe account" at any time to view or modify information.

User Setting

In User Settings, the email set for the Liker ID will be displayed. The default setting for Email Notification Settings is "Receive email notifications about commissions". f you do not wish to receive these emails, you can turn it off and then click "Update" to save the changes.

Enter into the Stripe payment page, fill in your email and credit card information and click "Buy".

Step 3: ebook purchase completed

The "Thank you!" page appears.

Additionally you will receive a confirmation email.

The purchased ebook will be displayed in "My Bookshelf".

Notifications record NFT gifts and collections. You can also check the messages from creators and collectors, continue to communicate and interact with each other.

On Liker Land, Click the avatar in the upper right corner and the menu will pop up, then click on "Notifications".

Notification Settings

After verifying the email, you can set the "Notification Settings" to receive notifications when Transfer or Collect NFTs. You can also enter the amount of LikeCoin, and a notification will be sent when the transaction price is greater than the set value.

Users can now follow a creator by providing their email address. Whenever the creator publishes an ebook or NFT, the followers will receive an email notification and will never miss the chance to collect.

Step 1: Setup Email

After logging in to Liker Land, click "Settings", then click "Email".

Enter your email address and click "Confirm".

The system will send a verification email to your email address. If you haven't received it yet, you can click "Resend Verification Email" to resend it again.

You will receive a confirmation email at your email address. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.

Step 2: Follow the Creator

On the left-hand column of the creator's Bookshelf, click "Follow".

A message "Successfully followed [creator's Liker ID or wallet address]" will appear.

Go to Liker Land's "Settings" -> "Following" to view the creatorss who have been successfully followed.

You can also click "Unfollow" to confirm that you will no longer follow the creator.

You can contact the moderator privately in the #🎫｜open-a-ticket channel. You can also use Liker Land's customer service tools to contact customer service.

1. Go to the #🎫｜open-a-ticket channel and click "Create ticket".

2. The bot will respond, and you can either click #ticket-[number], or;

3. You can enter your text in the dialogue box. Only moderators of the server can see and reply to the content in this channel; others cannot see them. If you think this ticket is no longer needed, you can click "Close" to delete it.

Readers can collect Writing NFTs in an extremely easy way.

Unlike popular NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea that converge creators' and buyers' traffic into a centralized portal, buyers of Writing NFTs are actually readers who want to focus on reading. The buying process for readers who are surfing the internet should be integrated with the reading experience. Shopping around in a mall and immersing oneself in a book are two totally different experiences, and we believe that most readers prefer the latter.

To let readers collect Writing NFTs as they read, the collecting action is as easy as giving a like. An "NFT Widget" will be embedded at the bottom of the article. It works like a vending machine, showing the current price of this Writing NFT, and allowing readers to collect it with just a click if the price is right.

Creators can install the Web3Press plugin to publish posts as NFTs if their website is based on WordPress. The plugin embeds the NFT Widget at the bottom of each post for readers to collect.

If there are any errors in the ISCN content, epub, or pdf file content of ebooks, they can be modified in the following ways:

Step 1: Go to "" at app.like.co and find the ISCN of the corresponding book.

Step 2: After locating the ISCN, click on "Edit ISCN".

Step 3: The "Edit ISCN Info" appears. If you need to modify the ISCN Title and Description, click "Update ISCN" after the information has been modified. If you need to replace the epub or pdf file, click on "Content Fingerprints", and "Re-upload files to update links" will appear for re-uploading the updated epub or pdf file.

Step 4: Taking the picture below as an example, this ISCN has changed from providing only a horizontal version epub to providing both horizontal and vertical version epubs. Therefore, after re-uploading both vertical and horizontal version epub files, click the "Trash" button to delete the duplicate cover file and then click "Start Upload". The Keplr wallet will pop up a window several times. Click "Approve".

Step 5: After completing the upload, click "Update ISCN" and confirm the update.

Step 6: After the ISCN is updated, the version number is displayed as /2, representing the second version of the ISCN. At the same time, readers who have purchased the ebook can re-download the new version.

If you wish to remove a published ebook, keep in mind that the ebook cannot be entirely deleted once it's "printed". The only viable method is to "abandon" it. Here's the step-by-step process:

• Open a new wallet address not publicly disclosed

• Send all NFTs slated for abandonment to this new "trash can" wallet address

• Transfer the ownership of ISCN to the new address to officially abandon the ebook.

Step 1: Prepare a CSV file

Given that multiple NFTs are typically minted when creating an ebook, using the Liker Land function to send one NFT at a time is inefficient. It's recommended to utilize the LikeCoin ISCN/NFT Tools for batch sending. Begin by preparing a CSV file. Download a sample here:

Enter the trash can address in the address column, and input the NFT Class ID of the ebook you want to abandon in the classid. If, for example, you have 100 NFTs to dispose of, the CSV file will have 100 columns of duplicate data.

Step 2: Use Liker Land BookPress to batch NFT to the trash can address

On the website, click "Connect" in the upper right corner to link the wallet, then click "".

Upload the CSV by clicking "Choose File". Confirm the CSV content in the Summary, and click "Send" after ensuring correctness. Confirm the NFT send in Keplr.

Step 3: Transfer ISCN ownership to the trash can address

Finally, go to the ISCN Browser tool website, click "Connect" to link the wallet, and search for the ISCN of the ebook in the Search bar.

Enter the trash can address in "Transfer to", click "Transfer", and confirm in Keplr to transfer the ISCN ownership to the trash can address.

Following these steps, the abandoned book will no longer appear on your Liker Land .

Our basic service includes the listing service only. For additional services such as EPUB file creation, cover design, editing, formatting, and curation, feel free to contact us at .

Pricing and Selling Price

You can set the pricing and actual selling price of your book according to your preferences and needs. Please note that the actual selling price must be equal to or less than the listed price. The minimum actual selling price for a priced item is $0.99 USD.

Free Option

If you want readers to receive your book for free, you can set the price of that book to $0 . We also support a "tip" feature, allowing readers to give additional tips in a custom amount to further support the author.

Publishing Process

Book Cover

A completed EPUB file already includes the book cover, so there's no need to upload it separately. However, if you're uploading a non-EPUB format file, you'll need to upload a separate cover image. For PDF files, an independent image file serves as the book cover.

Book Title, Author, and Category

Accurate information about the book title, author, and relevant tags is crucial for readers to recognize your work. Please make sure to fill in this information correctly.

Keywords

Well-chosen keywords can help readers discover your work when searching for related topics, increasing the visibility of your book. Avoid using unrelated terms as keywords, as they may have a counterproductive effect.

Publisher/Author Exclusive URL

Once a publisher or author has their first published work, they will have an exclusive URL. You can share this URL to promote your book.

After the book is published, if you would like to understand the sales overview or make more settings, you can use the Manage NFT Books. In addition to the settings for listing ebooks, it also provides various additional management functions.

Go to the website, click "Sign in" in the bottom left corner to connect to your wallet, then click "".

NFT Book Listing

Current Listing displays the ebooks that are currently listed. Viewable Listing refers to ebooks that you can manage. Select one of them and manage it.

NFT Book Status

NFT Book Status [Book Title] shows the ebook being managed.

Gift Books

Click on Gift Books in the upper right corner to gift the ebook to others:

1. Gift edition - Choose which version of the ebook to gift

2. Default Recipient Name - is the name of the default recipient

3. Default Gift Message - is the default message to the recipient

4. Gift Giver’s Name - Name of the person giving the book

5. Upload Recipient List CSV file - Click "Download CSV Template" to download CSV format file, fill in Email (required), Wallet (optional), Recipient name (optional. If filled in, it will override the content of Default Recipient Name), Message (optional. If filled in, it will override the content of Default Gift Message), and then click "Choose File" to upload

6. After the upload is completed, you can check the content in Recipients to see if it is correct, then click "Confirm" to send out the ebook.

Status

Pending Action shows the number of items pending, Sold displays sales data, and Stocks indicates the current inventory.

Orders

Displays the number of orders and their status, including Order Date, Status ("Pending NFT" means waiting for the author to sign and send the eBook. "Completed" indicates that the transaction is finished.), Sales Channel, Price, Price Name, Quantity, Coupon Applied, Buyer Email, Reader Email, Reader Wallet and Reader Message.

Fill in the information about this content, including:

• Author - Click to fill into more details. You may include more than one author if the work is co-created.

• Stakeholders - The system will automatically add the author and the ISCN registrant as stakeholders.

• URL - Link to the content

• Hide file storage link from public blockchain - Avoid the link appearing in general public.

• Register your asset in Numbers Protocol - Click on it and the work will be registered with Numbers Protocol too ( Not applicable to Skip Upload ).

Although most of the fields are optional, it is recommended to be as detailed as possible for content discovery and authenticity. The system will estimate the cost of this registration. After filling in all the information, click "Register".

Step 4: Sign and getting the ISCN

A Cosmostation windows will pop up for confirmation, click "Confirm" to sign.

To successfully register an ISCN, two signatures are required:

Sign (2/2) Please sign to register ISCN record

Publishing to blockchain normally takes a few seconds only.
